Many of my clients find that using mantras can help get through difficult times and hard days. Here are a few that you might find helpful:
When I think about my past and the mistakes I made or regrets I have, I can remind myself that I was a different person then. I needed more help that I got then and now I have the help I need.
Making mistakes is an essential part of learning. When I make a mistake, I can remind myself that I am still learning and growing.
I can create a support system for myself that is loving and strong. I get the help I need, when I need it, from various sources.
I am not responsible for other people. I cannot change another person. I let others be who they are, and I simply work on loving who I am.
It is no fun being a victim. I refuse to be helpless anymore.
I can be gentle with myself today.
I cannot be perfect. Nobody can. I can start trying to be okay.
I am willing to change.
I am good enough. I was given many messages growing up that I wasn’t and now I can see through that.
