  3. When you look in the mirror, do you focus on the parts of yourself you hate?
  4. Do you compare yourself negatively to others most days of the week?
  5. Did you grow up with parents who were overly critical of themselves, or of you?
  6. When you receive a compliment, is it hard for you to accept it? Do you find yourself saying things like, “Yes, but…”
  7. Has someone ever told you, “I wish you could see yourself like I do”? If you’ve ever heard that, did you think that person was crazy, or just being nice?
  8. Were you made fun of by classmates growing up?
  9. Is it difficult for you to keep and maintain friendships? Intimate relationships?
  10. When you get sad, do you isolate yourself thinking your friends and/or partners don’t want to hear it “again” from you?
